How To Access An Optiview From a Non Windows PC (by Tony Fortunato)

I've been in this stiuation before; I'm trying to access a vendors tool and their client isnt compatible with non Windows OS's.

All I did was to install VNC (or enable it, if its already there)and then I can use a Linux or Andriod OS to access the tool.

 

 

 

Of course this solution isn't offically supported by the vendor, but great to use in a pinch.
