I was working on some Cisco 1240 Aironet Access Points and noticed that I can use the fancy web interface to configure and monitor the unit.
As I was playing around with the web interface, I wondered how the logon credentials were being transmitted. Were they clear text ? I know I could turn on HTTPS, but still wanted to check it out.
So here I walk you through the process of finding a password sent via http.
