Another video from one of my classes where I cover the topic of 'What is a protocol'.
Simple as it may sound, this is actually quite important since it sets the stage that in networking, a protocol isn't a hard fast rule and open to interpretation.
Many of us know that manufacturers and programmers interpet standards and protocols to their benefit. Not to mention that there's always that one person who thinks they can improve or tweak an existing standard because they know better.
