I see more and more devices with auto settings to the hilt.
In this example I illustrate how an auto firmware update for a wireless AP/Router claims that the current firmware is up to date.
Then I manually go to the support/download webpage and discover that a more current version was released about 6 months ago.
All the more reason to manually verify what some auto processes report.
