Rolf Leutert, consultant, trainer and founder of Leutert NetServices, will give in-dept instruction about discovering IPv6 and WLAN 802.11.
- Discovering IPv6 with Wireshark
Wireshark is the ideal tool to discover the main protocol differences; during this introduction you will learn about new IPv6 fields, address allocation and neighbor discovery processes and get ready to discover more yourself. - Discovering WLAN 802.11n MIMO
This session will provide you with the necessary theoretical background and demonstrate the major changes and improvements of the new high throughput standard by using Wireshark trace files captured with the AirPcap Nx adapter.
You will learn technical details about spatial multiplexing techniques, channel bonding, frame aggregation, block ACK etc. and the issues with backwards compatibility to 802.11a/b/g devices.
Laura Chappell, founder of the Protocol Analysis Institute and co-founder (along with CACE Technologies) of Wireshark University, will be doing several hands-on troubleshooting sessions.
Betty DuBois, Principal Consultant for DuBois Training & Consulting LLC, will solve a couple of Network Mysteries.
Hansang Bae, leader of the Network/Application Performance Engineering Team at Citi, Hansang Bae is going to present "Stump the Expert" packet trace whispering sessions.
Joe Bardwell, President and Chief Scientist at Connect802 Corporation, will be doing 802.11 Secrets Revealed sessions.

Author Profile - My name is Joke (pronounced \yo-kə\ or Joan for those who do not speak Dutch). During the day, I work as a secretary for a non-profit organization providing assisted living for mentally handicapped people in the south of The Netherlands. In my spare time I like to use Wireshark. I find it interesting and necessary to monitor my home network to see what is going on. As a user I like to answer questions at the Wireshark Mailing List.
What is in it for me? Well, I learn a great deal whenever I try to solve real-world problems. I am also a member of the NGN (the Dutch Network User's Group). I write articles about how to use Wireshark and the command line tools. And if there is still some spare time left, I like to go biking in the woods near my hometown with my husband and fellow geek.
