Sharkfest 2010
Stanford University
June 14 through 17th
Sharkfest 2010 will be held again at Stanford and this year will be better than ever.
What is Sharkfest? Sharkfest is the current world gathering of Developers and Users and with well over 100 million downloads the Users are everywhere and in every network and data discipline.
What Happens at Sharkfest? Sharkfest opens with World Class Speakers. In the past we have had Vint Cerf, Larry Rogers, Len Shustek and this year we are having Harry Saal, The founder of the original Sniffer (Network General 1980-1999) and Van Jacobson one of the primary contributors to the TCP/IP stack.
There will be a Bar-B-Q to start off the program on Monday evening so everyone can meet and talk. There will be a vendor night where everyone can meet the vendors that and sponsors of Sharkfest as well as daily technical and training seminars.
Come meet and be trained by the Best of the Best Technologist and Trainers – Laura Chappell of WireShark University, Ray Tompkins of Gearbit, Betty DuBois of Cornerstone Professional Services and Mike Pennacchi of Network Protocol Specialists and more….
Meet many of the Developers and Gerald Combs, the Founder of Wireshark.
This is a GREAT time to meet peers, share experiences, help focus the future for Wireshark and get the best training not just of Wireshark but other solution technologies and in Networking generally.
Basically there is no better training opportunity for the money anywhere!
I am hopeful that I will be able to attend this year.
